Introducing the mobile driving license for Libya, a solution that leverages decentralized identities and verifiable credentials. The mobile app saves a secure copy of the license secure with convenient access at anytime, anywhere.

The solution builds on DIDs and VCs using a combination of smart contracts and distributed storage. The capability of users to opt for selective disclosure makes it easy to share only the requested data for each specific purpose without revealing other sensitive personal information that the verifier does not require.

LBN Chain team was present at the UNDP organized Blockchain4Good virtual summit featuring leaders across governmental agencies ,humanitarian missions and industry leaders from Cardano, Celo chain and others talking about the role of blockchain technology in enhancing government efficiency and delivery of products that serve UNDP Sustainability Development Goals SDGs such as in financial inclusion, and digital identity.

LBN Testnet Ghadames network is Live

LBN Testnet with the name Ghadames is finally live with all services to enable developers and enterpenuers to start utilizing the testnet, deploy contracts, and build dapps. The testnet has a number of tools available including the block explorer and faucet to obtain the testnet token used for gas operations. Few use cases have been built and our partners are engaged in building more.
